Luciérnaga (2025)

I directed a small team to create a 2D animated music video for José Madero, a Universal Music artist in Mexico. The song is about a real femicide case and features the mother reading a poem she dedicated to her daughter she lost.I adjusted the project based on notes and the scope in what resulted a heartbreaking music video released on International Women's Day 2026.

Roots (2025)

Wrote and directed a stop-motion and 2D animated short film called "Roots." The project won the LFI Fellowship sponsored by Netflix and had a special screening June 2024 at the TCL Chinese Theaters.This project was personal to me because it dealt with a condition I have called trichotillomania. It's a disorder where a person compulsively pulls out their hair. I haven't seen much representation for the condition and thought it best to show how it feels through a tactile medium like stop-motion and contrast the textures with 2D animation.Many international artists worked on this short film. The Cursed Hacienda (2022)

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage month, I directed and animated a stop-motion and 2D animated promotional video for the US television channel SYFY.The story is inspired by my short visit to a mummy museum in México when I was a little girl. The experience fueled my curiosity of the supernatural and the gothic horror genre.I led a small team who helped with sound effects and prop fabrication.

La Ofrenda (2020)

Completed short film for Aardman Academy's Stop Motion 1 Course. Michael, a silly skeleton man, celebrates Day of the Dead.

Call of the Aisle (2020)

Helped create an animatic with 4 teammates for a virtual festival. With a limited time frame of 1 month, I assisted brainstorming the story, create a thumbnail pass of the storyboards, designed background characters and edited the final animatic.
